Red Wine Campi Taurasini DOC Irpinia is our world famous red wine, produced in Italy from the red "Aglianico" grapes, matured for at least three years and bottled in our wine cellar.
We are located in an unique area of Italy, the hills of the beautiful "Irpinia", known as the land of Avellino, a land rich in history and passion for agriculture, especially suited for the production of quality grapes. It is reported that this grape was introduced into Italy by the Greeks in the seventh century BC. Known as Hellenic in ancient times, the name of the grape was changed in the fifteenth century to Aglianico, to adapt to the Spanish language.
Aglianico is an ancient vine, one of the greatest grapes of southern Italy. From it are derived some of the best wines of Avellino:

Variety: Pure Aglianico
Red Wine Campi Taurasini DOC Irpinia is a red wine which follows traditional winemaking in steel barrels. The maceration of the grapes, at 24-25 °C, lasts no more than 9 days to obtain a good extraction of colour and aromas without encumbering the delicate tannin structure.
Refining: Steel barrels. Bottled for about 11 months. Red Wine Campi Taurasini DOC Irpinia wine has a subtle aroma of black cherry and ripe plum. Medium-bodied, balanced, elegant with subtle taste of ripe red fruits.
